These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Asa ("the App"), operated by Vineward ("we", "us"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Asa is an AI assistant that supports pastoral study and administration — for example, Scripture study and citation, sermon and lesson drafting, curriculum development, and calendar and visitation tracking. When you connect a third-party account (such as Google), the App performs only the actions you authorize and request.
Asa is a study and administration tool. It is not a pastor, counselor, physician, attorney, or spiritual authority, and its output is not pastoral counsel, medical advice, legal advice, or an authoritative doctrinal ruling. Responsibility for ministry, teaching, counsel, and decisions remains entirely with the pastor-teacher and qualified human professionals.
The App integrates with third-party services, including Google APIs. Your use of those services is also governed by their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle information, including our commitment to pastoral confidentiality.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that outputs will be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. Scripture citations and study material must be verified by the user.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vineward will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the App.
You may stop using the App and revoke its access at any time from your Google Account permissions page. We may suspend or terminate access to the App at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Vineward is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
